Pictures
To complete our scheduling process, the following pictures are required for each horse and rider.
Please match your photos as closely as possible to the example photos. Photos that do not meet the criteria will need to be retaken before we can secure a demo saddle and schedule your appointment. If you are having trouble with your photos, please reach out to your local Sponsored Trainer or Brand Ambassador, or let us know!
You can either use the Upload buttons below or email your photos to BurnishSaddlery@gmail.com.
Profile
-
This picture informs us of your horse’s conformation and allows us to see his topline. It is the first of two photos that helps us determine the correct tree for your horse.
-
Get someone to help you hold the horse on a lead rope. We need them squared up and on level ground, weight on all fours, and head and neck straight ahead and in “neutral” (not too high or low). Take it straight across from where the saddle would sit, mid-horse. Include his feet on the ground and entire body nose to tail.
Back Contour
-
The Back Contour photo informs us of your horse’s musculature as well as a secondary perspective of their conformation. It is the second of two photos used to determine the correct tree for your horse.
-
For the second picture, again make sure he maintains his position, and you’ll need to stand on a mounting block behind him. We need a picture of his back musculature under the saddle in front of the croup, including his shoulders and neck. This one is a little trickier to get, we need it low enough that we can see the angle and definition in his back, but if it’s too low we can’t see over his croup.
Rider Photo
-
We need a picture of you in any saddle, taken from the side so we can see your leg (with stirrups) and how it lays on the flap and roll.
-
Have a friend take a photo of you from the ground, with all the same criteria as the “Profile” photo. Ensure the photo clearly shows your form and saddle, without any oversized jackets or extra tack covering the cantle and pommel. Please give us any info you have on the saddle; brand, model and seat size if you have it.
